Billed as South Dakota’s only New Year’s Eve AFTERNOON Parade.
A yearly tradition since 2001, this zany parade is held on Main Street, making the pass twice just in case spectators missed something the first time through.
Festivities kick off at the Legion Hall with lunch and South Dakota Made crafts, door prizes, music at 11 a.m. There’s also a beer tasting event by Choteau Creek Brewing Co., south of Delmont.
The parade starts at 1 p.m., with lineup beginning at noon south of Zion Lutheran Church. This year’s parade theme is “Commercials: Past and Present.” Top prize is $100.
