England-based oil company teams up with S.D. Soybean Processors on $500M multi-seed processing facility
Plant near Mitchell will process 35 million bushels of soybeans annually
The multinational global gas and oil company BP has signed onto a $500 million construction project for a multi-seed processing facility in Davison County.
High Plains Processing, LLC, a subsidiary of South Dakota Soybean Processors (SDSP), announced a joint venture with BP Products North America Inc. on Tuesday. They will co-own the facility that companies and state official say will create more than 80 new jobs in the Mitchell area and allow the England-based company to increase its daily production of biofuels to 100,000 gallons by 2030.
