Minnehaha County, Think 3D Solutions team to steer more young offenders away from crime
Public safety officials hope to steer more young people away from a life of crime with more help from the private sector.
The Minnehaha County State’s Attorney’s Office announced earlier this month that it is expanding juvenile diversion programs within the county court system with a new partnership with Think 3D Solutions, a Sioux Falls-based firm specializing in helping organizations build workplace culture through leadership development and coaching.
“What youth are excited about with this program is that it gives them a fresh start and keeps the crime off their record,” said Kris Evans, the juvenile diversion director with the Sioux Empire Teen Court program, who discussed the agreement with Think 3D Solutions with county commissioners last week.
