After months of campaigning, the end is here. Polls open for Election Day across South Dakota at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
Nationally, the main event has been what can only be described as a crazy presidential contest that saw the return of the vanquished Donald Trump and the late installment of Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee. The outcome of the race is in doubt, and the result might not be known for days. Should he win, Trump would be only the second president in U.S. history to serve two non-consecutive terms.
