South Dakota will face legal action if state voter rolls are turned over to President Donald Trump’s administration.

That’s the threat the Democratic National Committee made Friday to the South Dakota secretary of state, warning cooperation in a White House initiative to inspect voter registries in all 50 states would violate federal election laws.
