Gov. Kristi Noem has hired her former chief of staff to engage in federal lobbying on behalf of the governor and her office, paying him $120,000. The contract with Stoick Consulting calls for the company to be paid in 12 equal monthly payments. The contract started May 1 and runs through April 30, 2025.
