PIERRE — A former Department of Revenue employee facing seven criminal charges, including five felonies, pled guilty Monday to two of those after striking a deal with state prosecutors.

Lynne Hunsley, 64, will avoid prison time after pleading guilty to two felony charges — forgery and grand theft by deception. She previously pleaded not guilty to all the charges she faced in November.

The Hughes County native pled guilty as part of a plea deal she struck with the Attorney General’s Office, which prosecuted the case.
