Death of public official brings bipartisan remembrances
Randy Seiler has died at the age of 76.
The former U.S. Attorney for South Dakota and the outgoing chairman of the South Dakota Democratic Party died in the Monday, four days after sustaining a heart attack while jogging near his Fort Pierre home.
“Randy passed away last night surrounded by his family and supported by the thoughts and prayers of people he loved and who, with us, mourn his passing,” Seiler’s wife Wanda wrote in a social media Tuesday.
