Dell Rapids City Hall to relocate, but staying on main street
Dell Rapids government is getting a new home.
The longtime City Hall location in the northern Minnehaha County community at 302 E. Fourth St. will soon be hitting the market after the town’s Council approves a $500,000 purchase of a recently-vacated bank building right across the street. A formal decision is coming next week.
City Administrator Justin Weiland told The Dakota Scout Wednesday the former Wells Fargo building at 317 E. Fourth St. will need additional remodeling before the any official move takes place sometime in mid-2024, though a budget for that work has yet to be established.
