Convicted child rapist, fentanyl dealer was slated for deportation
Man fought removal from country after being released into ICE custody
A convicted child rapist who is on his way to prison for distributing fentanyl was scheduled to be deported before his most recent run-in with the law, The Dakota Scout has learned.
Elizeo Kalimba was sentenced to 19 years in federal prison Monday for conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. Authorities allege that Kalimba, 33, obtained fentanyl pills from Arizona to distribute in Sioux Falls.
But Kalimba should not have been in a position to deal drugs in Sioux Falls, according to court records.
