Maggie Groteluschen was listening to the radio when she heard the news that a body of a deceased baby had been found at Millennium Recycling Aug. 6.

Groteluschen, fiduciary services manager and vice president at The First National Bank in Sioux Falls, had toured Millennium, one of the bank’s customers. She thought highly of its president, Shannon Dwire, and owner Jake Anderson. She knew the workers would be going through a lot.

“How terrible,” she recalls thinking at the time. “Here’s this team. They do really hard work for Sioux Falls, and they’re going to be impacted by this.”
