Brown County commissioners grapple again with wind energy setbacks

Updated regulations governing wind energy production in Brown County still aren’t quite right, it seems.

That’s why proposed ordinance amendments will be massaged for a seventh time. That decision was made during the regular Brown County Commission meeting on Nov. 18.

Before final approval, commissioners want to get the details right so they both protect landowners and allow for the development of wind farms.
