
A federal judge has signed off on a settlement between the Brookings School District and the parents of a girl who alleged the district discriminated against her.
The district agreed to pay $10,000 to Peter and Sheila Shore, the parents of a girl identified as S.E.M.S. in the lawsuit they brought. The district denied the allegations brought by the Shores, according to the settlement agreement.
