More potential prison sites have emerged in South Dakota’s ongoing hunt for new correctional facility locations.
Gov. Larry Rhoden’s Project Reset Task Force received letters of interest this week from owners of property near Box Elder in western South Dakota and another group with landholdings less than two miles from the existing state penitentiary in northeast Sioux Falls.
