Bidding adieu: 49 years as school district stalwart coming to end

Ben Schnell started working for district when he was a student

For nearly half a century, Ben Schnell has been taking care of Aberdeen Public School District properties.

At the end of this school year, however, he will retire.

“You know, I’ve, I’ve enjoyed my time here immensely. It’s been a very satisfying career, you know?” Schnell said.
