Beverly “Bev” Kerr, 82, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Ava’s House in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 3, 2025, at First English Lutheran Church, 120 E 2nd Ave., in Lennox, SD. Visitation with the family present will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday until the start of the funeral service at the church. Private family burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Sioux Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sanford Hospice.
Beverly Ann Kerr was born on February 2, 1943, in Dovray Township, Murray County, MN, the third child to Edward and LuVella (Buss) Vosberg. Bev attended Westbrook High School through the 12th grade. After graduation, Bev moved to Minneapolis, MN, for three and a half years. She also spent time in Marshall, MN; Russell, MN; Ghent, MN; Rockport, MO; Nebraska; Montana; Wagner, SD; and then ultimately settling in Sioux Falls in 1994. Bev ended up moving to Lennox, SD, in June 2014.
Bev was united in marriage to Albert Kerr on May 22, 1965, in Westbrook, MN. To this union, 4 children were born. Bev was active in teaching Sunday School, VBS, Choir, Bible Studies, Stephan Ministry, and Circle. She also spent time volunteering for Sanford Hospital and Sanford Hospice.
Bev’s hobbies included sewing, reading, flower gardening-especially roses, and spending time with all her children and grandchildren.
Grateful for sharing her life are her children, Rebecca “Becky” (Steve Everson) Tschetter of Sioux Falls, SD; Alan (Joyce) Kerr of Kirksville, MO; Wendy (Chad) Anderson of Sioux Falls, SD; Jennifer “Jenny” (Shawn) Nesseim of Lennox, SD; 15 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert in 2009; and brother, Darwin Vosberg.
