A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Church of St. Mary (2109 S. 5th Ave., Sioux Falls). The family will greet friends for visitation from 4:00 - 6:00 PM, Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home-Southside Chapel (7400 S. Minnesota Ave., Sioux Falls), with a wake service at 6 p.m., followed by sharing.
Beth Nichole was born on May 1, 1980, to Jack and Paula (Hermansen) Dwyer in Boise, Idaho. The family moved to Sioux Falls, where Nicki attended O’Gorman High School, graduating in 1998. She completed her studies at Montana State University, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in 2002.
After college, Nicki moved back to Sioux Falls, where she married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Andrew Ellerbroek, on June 3, 2005. They were blessed with two children: Sophia and Aidan.
Nicki worked as a teacher for a short time before embarking on a new journey as a small business owner. In 2006, Nicki and her father, Bob Correa, opened McNally’s Irish Pub, which she successfully ran until 2024. During her time there, Nicki had the honor of winning not only the award for “Best Nachos in the State” but also the “International Marketing Award,” which was presented to her in Ireland.
Nicki enjoyed connecting with her local community through drink, food and friendship. She loved to entertain and was considered the “Hostess with the Mostess” at the pub. She used her position at McNally’s to help fundraise for her community. Nicki was also a member of St. Mary’s Altar Society and on the O’Gorman Dakota Bowl Committee.
She was always quoting movies and had an uncanny ability to remember lines. She loved to sing, even when she didn’t know the words! She was an amazing improviser. She loved cooking and creating new recipes – often using the most unique ingredients. She enjoyed traveling, especially visiting Montana, Ireland and Mexico. She enjoyed spending time at the Torrey Lake Hunting Lodge, snow-skiing, and watching musicals – her favorite being “The Wizard of Oz.”
Above all, Nicki loved and cherished her husband and children. She will be forever missed.
Grateful for sharing her life are her husband, Andrew Ellerbroek; children, Sophia and Aidan Ellerbroek; parents, Paula and Bob Correa; father, Jack “Skip” Dwyer; brothers, Ryan (Mindy) Correa, Matt (Shelly) Correa and Dylan (Abigail) Dwyer; and sisters, Lauren (Alec) Huddy and Danielle (Nick) Palazzi.
