‘Best rally ever’: South Dakota's legendary motorcycle rally could break attendance records

The 85th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally could draw more bikers, motorcycle enthusiasts and partygoers to the Black Hills than ever before.

And with the world’s largest annual biker bash set to officially kick off in less than two weeks, city officials and rally-focused businesses are anticipating one of the largest — and most action-packed — rallies since South Dakota’s first-ever motorcycle gathering in 1938. (More on the funny math later.)
