Attorney General won't pursue charges against congressional hopeful
Letter sent to GOP Chair John Wiik, Justin McNeal says no crime committed
A Rapid City man will not be prosecuted for collecting signatures to run in the primary election for U.S. House that he allegedly collected while registered as an independent.
Justin McNeal learned Friday in a call from Attorney General Marty Jackley that no charges would be brought against him, he told The Dakota Scout.
“He just said, ‘I’ll be sending you a letter,’ McNeal said. “He said he did a full review and did not find we did anything wrong.”
