Former state employee latest in string of public corruption cases brought by Attorney General's Office
A former South Dakota government employee is accused of accessing the state’s driver’s license records to commit felony sex crimes.
An Aberdeen man has been arrested and is facing multiple felony charges stemming from his employment with the Department of Public Safety. Mark Charles Rathbun, 66, worked in the State Driver Licensing Office in Aberdeen and is being held in the Brown County Jail on Solicitation of Second-Degree Rape, Possession of Child Pornography, and Unlawful Use of a Computer System.
