The municipal election season will be extended three more weeks after no candidate in Sioux Falls’ lone citywide City Council contest achieved a majority of votes in Tuesday’s election.
Meanwhile, the city’s Northeast District chose 29-year-old Miranda Basye for a four-year term set to begin in May, while Sioux Falls school district voters opted for a pair of educators to serve on the board of education for the next two years.
