$200M worth of interstate highway work ahead in Sioux Falls area
Freeway ramps, interchanges on busy summer construction schedule

As the population and housing in Sioux Falls and surrounding cities continue to boom, so is construction work on interstates in the metropolitan area to keep up.
This summer, about $200 million is being spent on bridge repairs on Interstates 90 and 29 as well as new interchanges at Cliff Avenue and Interstate 229 in Sioux Falls and on I-90 in Brandon and Hartford.
The bridge repairs on the interstates are probably the most noticeable to drivers now in the city and causing traffic slowdowns and lane and ramp closures.
