How do you feel about non-citizens voting in U.S. elections? What about citizens of other states voting in South Dakota? Imagine being a member of an important organization you care about, then learning that you have to allow those who aren’t part of the organization to vote for who represents you.
How would you feel?
If that sounds like an unfair, bad idea, then ask yourself – why should political parties be required to open their primaries to voters who aren’t members of the party?
