South Dakota’s most notable public officials have been tight-lipped about their fellow Republican Donald Trump facing criminal charges since his indictment last week. But that could change today.

The historic indictment of a former U.S. president Thursday by a Manhattan grand jury on still-unknown charges brought with it a chorus of reaction from elected officials across the country.
