Good job SD Highway Patrol. However deportation vs life imprisonment makes no sense unless the criminal would be locked up in the country he is deported to. Otherwise, deportation would leave him free to practice his profession on us again.

Good explanation Dean, let's not give this criminal another chance to do the same thing and never experience the normal punishment! This has to be stopped in America, don't let him ever come back and do this! Sturgis rally is a prime location to peddle his unlawful products to innocent people! "Not in America"!!!

I'm certainly no fan of meth—or, for that matter, "Meth, we're on it"— but do we really need another staged law enforcement photo of arranged drug haul? Reminds me of Noem in El Salvador posing in front prisoners in their underwear and flaunting her $50k Rolex that was, supposedly, a legacy investment for her three children. It's overkill one expects from a bully.

She got away with a loads of SD money and that shouldn't be allowed! She needs to repay our state after her big show of "How important she is"! I believe if the truth be know, she wasn't recruited for the job she got, she approached Trump to get the job, and she loves the notoriety of being so much smarter and better than she really is! Stop her from getting by with all the expenses she laid on we people of SD for her unnecessary trips to all over the country hotel stays, fancy meals to entertain and lots of things that we don't know about! I voted for her, but never again!

A plausible theory is that Noem, recognizing that she was not smart, decided to focus on the "glamour" aspect. With a remade face, she could mask her intellectual deficiencies and appeal to predator personalities like Donald and Corey who find fat lips, extensions and 3" fake eyelashes attractive. Unfortunately, this isn't pole-dancing with which we're dealing. It's the leadership of a country. Noem isn't qualified to lead ants to a picnic.

BRAVO ZULU! to DPS and what Dean wrote. What a haul!!!

I'd rather the 'apprehendee' be deported rather than having room, board and three 'hots' a day at taxpayers' expense.

So we're all supposed to believe an undocumented immigrant was carting a huge amount of meth through an area with the highest police presence in the state at this time? No. No. No.
