This administration’s attacks on science and research are part of the Project 2025 agenda. The cuts aren’t necessary—it’s not waste and fraud; it’s part and parcel of the profoundly anti-intellectual bent of the entire MAGA movement. It ignores the direct link between research and economic development and the benefit society gets from research and education in general. But whether it’s the dismantling of the DOE or the blatant attempt to shift public education funding to non-public education, it’s all an assault on education. Keeping people ignorant means it’s easier to manipulate them—that’s the goal.

We need to save money so we can spend it on sending the president to HIS personal golf resort in Scotland to have a grand opening with his whole entourage on TAXPAYER dollars. Plus we need to cover his golf trips (3 million a piece) and we paid out 25 million for him to attend the superbowl AND we are spending over a billion dollars to retrofit the plane he got as a gift that will eventually belong to his presidential library. Oh and Kristi Noem wanted a new plane for her travels too.

It seems like the GOP has a lot of wasteful priorities that don't help the taxpayers at all.
