Sioux Falls amassing more land for future development near Premier Center
Land swap between city, development group and U.S. government part of City Hall's long-term vision for events center district
The Sioux Falls Development Foundation is transferring a parcel of land it owns in the northeast part of the city, part of a three-phased land swap aimed at fostering future development near the Denny Sanford Premier Center.
Sioux Falls City Councilors Tuesday night signed off on an agreement between SFDF and City Hall that has about 26 acres becoming property of the city. But the newly acquired land won’t stay in the city’s inventory for long.
