Due to the fact that a couple donated their entire estate to the Christ the King School specially, I don't see how this can happen! That estate cannot be used for any other use in the parish, so what will they try to do with it! I had been told 11 years ago, at the parish, that this investment in the school COULD NOT be touched for anything but the school! How can anyone in any position justify this access to the school. Something fishy in this decision! I think they plan to use that to build a church in Harrisburg, but that shouldn't be allowed! That to me would be a legal offense!!
The potential closing of Christ the King elementary school comes at the same time the diocese has opened the St. Joseph Academy at the site of the old Cathedral grade school.
