U.S. House set to vote on releasing investigation of infamous financier
South Dakota Rep. Dusty Johnson said Tuesday that he will vote to compel the Justice Department to release all of its files on Jeffrey Epstein, the wealthy financier accused of having sex and trafficking underage girls.
“Jeffrey Epstein committed heinous, evil crimes. I’ll be voting to release the Epstein files, which I’ve consistently supported for months,” Johnson said in a statement to The Dakota Scout. “We all want transparency, and for any person found guilty to face the full force of justice. My heart goes out to the victims, and I hope proper action is taken to protect their identities.”
