A multi-year dispute between landowners and Summit Carbon Solutions has made its way to the South Dakota Supreme Court.

Oral arguments in the case were made Tuesday, March 19 at Northern State University’s Johnson Fine Arts Center. The justices heard seven cases during their March term on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 20.

The pipeline case is a consolidation of several lawsuits involving Summit and South Dakota landowners. Property owners are appealing 2nd and 5th judicial circuit findings that allow Summit to do surveys on private land work without getting permission in advance.
