Kristin Wellnitz, the Chair of the Civic Engagement Work Group, gave an overview of the various service opportunities that were conducted within the Sioux Falls community throughout the formal STC Days week, as well as happening from throughout the semester, thus far. Locations served during the formal STC Days included the Banquet, Feeding South Dakota, the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Rake the Town, and the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House. Other locations of service that have been taking place throughout the month were also mentioned (the Sanford International Golf Tournament and Light the Night, just to name a few examples). To date, STC has logged just under 1000 service hours by over 500 people (student and employees combined).
