South Dakota recently anchored a one-a-kind science travel initiative that took students from the depths of underground research labs to the historic halls of Oxford University.
Eight college students earlier this month wrapped up a month-long science immersion as part of the Davis-Bahcall Scholar Program, which gives rising college freshmen and sophomores a chance to explore careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through intensive field experiences, lab tours and international travel.
