A big special exhibit this year is a first ever industrial braiding machine convention. In operation will be approximately 20 braiding machines from all over the country. In addition there will be 25 buildings on the grounds that have activities or exhibits indoors should the weather cause issues. Carousel, Ferris Wheel and barrel train rides for kids 12 and younger, mini golf for everyone. Family passes are $20 per day and individual passes are $10 each.

The Fort Pierre Volunteer Fire Department is hosting its annual Fireman's Ball on September 23rd. The Barn Flies from the Sioux Falls area are coming in to perform, the event is the departments biggest fundraiser and is BYOB. Lots of singing, dancing, raffles and community fun.

Bring out your family and friends to enjoy a fall day at Riverview Christmas Tree Farm's Pumpkin Festival. Pumpkins will be available in multiple varieties from large to small.
