Goatroper Live

Goatroper appeared on the scene in the Twin Cities in 2021 and quickly became fixtures of the local circuit. Bandleaders Abbey Janii and Mike Lee trade vocals and bring wide-ranging musical experience to Goatroper, resulting in a mix of folk, country, old-time and maybe even some ragtime. They debuted their self-titled album in November and return to play in their hometown of Sioux Falls Monday.

Celebrate Lunar Life, our brand-new traveling exhibit that explores the life of an astronaut in space, explores a variety of space missions, showing how astronauts eat, exercise, grow vegetables and mine for materials. The sounds of Wesli’s childhood, including Evangelical gospel, reggae, Afrobeat, funk, and the diverse roots music of Haiti, continually influence his compositions. Based in Montreal since the early 2000s, Wesli explores a variety of genres while keeping his musical identity firmly anchored in his roots and Haitian cultural heritage.
