I wish you had a “fact or crap” section where you would push back on politicians when they lie (both local, and national) instead of just telling people what they say.
Also do some further investigation into Noem’s abuse of taxpayer dollars while she was governor!
Gentlemen: we are fortunate and appreciative to have you. Spending Christmas with Alabama cousins we learned they lack any similar news media. Their papers have shrunk to nothing and anything they have available has no local focus.. You have done a great job of making about South Dakota and four South Dakotans. Of course. Disagree with your content but your reporting is reasonable, informative and fair.

Increases are inevitable. I wonder if "comments" could be limited to only people who use their real name? In days past this was a requirement of anyone writing a letter for publishing in a newspaper. I believe it lead to better quality comments. Thank you
Disagree on real names. Post Kirk reactions against anyone who didn't heap praise on the man was chilling. People can't be free to express themselves if at anytime a benign comment can be used against them in their professional lives by whoever's in power at the moment.
Compared to the Argus Leader, you are at seven dollars a month still substantially much more affordable than their 82. My only concern with your publication is that it really is hard to use as a person who is blind and needing Accessibility.
The Scout is a wonderful resource. So glad you started it. We're moving out of state but if we were not, we'd be happy to pay the increase. Totally worth it.

I read almost every column. At $7 still a bargain. I'm sure getting the legal notice contract has kept subscriber rates down, so thanks for doing that.. I agree that real names should be used in the comments. If you can't attach your real name to a comment, keep it to yourself, your friends, or in the saloon.
I'd cancel my subscription if they required names. The only ones left commenting would be those who don't rely on a job (those receiving Social Security).
