Tensions over City Hall’s plans to include a fitness center in a new indoor aquatics and recreation facility are flaring up again.

A pair of Sioux Falls city councilors are voicing concerns about the Parks and Recreation Department expanding its workout offerings, suggesting that a portion of a $47 million indoor water and rec center slated for Frank Olson Park isn’t what the Council envisioned when it authorized funding for the project.
