Austin Goss disorderly conduct, $500 and loss of job, for using a cell phone for a prank phone call.

Jason Ravnsborg using a cell phone while driving, $500 and loss of job, for hitting a pedestrian and killing him after attending a politial fund raiser.

Seem fair!

Remeber this on April Fools day when you call and ask "Do you have Dr. Pepper in a can?"

Goss was already targeted, and "they" jumped on any excuse to crush him...

You were a good reporter in Pierre, Austin, and you are missed. Everyone makes mistakes; sorry someone thought yours should end up in court. Wishing you and your growing family a beautiful future.

To put it bluntly, Mr. Goss, you were being silly - but you also got screwed. I look forward to hearing you as a journalist again. You're good. Hang in there.

If I owned a media outlet, I’d hire you. You’ve handled this superbly! It’s obvious you are sorry for your actions. Best of luck to you. I really miss reading your articles.

Austin, I have greatly admired your depth and style in presenting news. Life is full of choices and all humans fail to get it right once or twice as we travel down our own personal path.

You will overcome this dark moment and will have a bright future in your chosen profession.

This is what happens in a 1-party rule state. Everyone is your enemy; crush them at all costs. I don't believe for a New York second that "She-who-must-be-obeyed" didn't have her booger pullers in this. Fascism is alive and well in SD! I bet The Dakota Scout would be glad to have you...keep muckraking, my friend.
