South Dakota wheat farmers are set for a boost after a Taiwanese flour mill pledged to include their crops in a $10 billion U.S. trade deal, easing concerns over trade war-fueled market volatility.
After the Southeast Asian island’s government pledged to buy $10 billion in U.S. commodities over the next four years, a delegation of Taiwanese state and business officials visited South Dakota, inking another deal committing to buying South Dakota crops.
